The Revolt was designed using the favorite aspects of other popular Taylor reel models combining them into a performance product that reflects the spirit and soul of Taylor Reels! We combined the X style frame from the T1/TYPE1 with the porting and machining of the Enigma 2.0 to create a reel with a stunning look and feel. We took the powerful drag of the Revolution Z along with the proven ergonomics and dimensions of the Z to make a reel that 100% performance driven. The Revolt is designed for big salt-water, small mountain rivers and everything in-between. The Revolt features a powerful carbon-fiber/stacked/sealed drag system that is silky smooth with 3.5 knob rotations of adjustments. The 3.5 rotations of adjustments allows you dial in the perfect amount of drag power according to your needs. This reel features two different drag chamber sizes; the 4-6wt features the smallest drag chamber, created to be strong yet light with 10lbs of maximum drag. The 7-9wt and 10-12wt feature a larger sized drag chamber with up to 15lbs of max drag. While the Revolt isn’t Taylor’s most expensive reel, it has everything you could dream of in a perfect fly fishing machine!

- In our tests, they perfectly match most vintage fly rods.
- We provide additional screws for replacement.
- This reel foot can only be used on the IWANA reel.
- The thinnest reel foot is very thin to allow for extreme conditions. Do not lock or squeeze with excessive force as it may cause deformation.

Grip fly reels are designed for those that desire a fully sealed drag system for the most extreme conditions. They have the same heavy duty, clean cut construction that Torque and Rush series reels have become known for, only with a few sweet additions.
To start, 2 Hybrid ceramic ball bearings and even more carbon fiber have been incorporated, adding to the silky smooth drag that all Galvan users are accustomed to. A watertight, easy to access hub has also been added encasing the entire drag system, leaving only anodized aluminum exposed to the elements. The new quick turn knob allows for a super quick spool release as well as easy access to the Drag System, and the Monster grip handle provides assured accessibility.

SKU: NFD9351The G.E.N Weight Kit is a 1/2 ounce brass washer that fits into the spool of the G.E.N reels, allowing the angler to increase the weight of the reel by a 1/2 ounce. A rubber gasket is recessed into a groove in the washer’s hole ensuring a snug fit on the spindle. A threaded hole in the weight allows for easy removal of the weight from a reel using the included weight removal tool.
