The new PURE 2 series of fly rods (8 models in 2-weight through 5-weight) are made to excel in the world’s legendary dry fly fisheries and in the most challenging technical trout applications. Utilizing new NanoParticle materials, these rods are smooth, delicate and lively. In a broad range of dry-fly situations, from large tailwaters, technical spring creeks, and small streams, these new light-line presentation rods flex evenly, recover quickly, and maintain an incredibly smooth and balanced ‘Winston Feel.’
The PURE 2 uses our new versatile double-bonded NanoParticle graphite technology. This incredible material Enhances both performance and presentation yet creates an unbelievably stable rod blank with exceptional feel.
Ultimately, NanoParticle technology enhances the classic Winston action and improves lightness, durability, and strength, while easily loading at typical trout fishing distances. We’re excited to introduce this incredible technology to help anglers achieve perfect performance and more enjoyment on the water.
NanoParticle Technology forms a “double-bond” to the resin and graphite to increase stress distribution by up to 30%, creating the world’s most consistent actions and intuitive casting rods.

The Oros tech pack includes three strike indicator colors glow-in-the-dark, black/anti-glare and hi-visibility chartreuse.
Black/Anti-glare
Black strike indicators provide more contrast and are easier to see than other colors in highly reflective lighting situations. We’ve found that black indicators work well when the sun is lower on the horizon or under overcast skies that are reflecting on the water. For situations where the indicator is moving from water with a dark refection into an area with high glare we recommend putting two indicators on the line, one black and one chartreuse or white. The white or chartreuse indicator is easy to see in the dark area and the black indicator is easier to see in the high glare area. For example, we pared a medium black indicator with a small chartreuse indicatorEasy to use!
To fasten:
1. Unscrew top
2. Place line in screw slot
3. Screw on top until the screw and nut grips the line
4. Unscrew ¼ turn to adjust up or down
5. Don’t over-tighten.Features and details:
