Umpqua Fly Mole Midge Natural
SKU: NFD9872
Sizes 18 and 22
Craven’s Mole Midge is the dipteran version of the venerable Mole Fly, the greatest emerger pattern I have ever fished. Designed to hang the slim peacock quill body through the surface film with the wing protruding up top, the Mole Midge perfectly replicates surface emergence.

Umpqua Fly Outrigger Caddis
SKU: NFD9851
Size 14 and 16
Colour: Tan
“The Outrigger series was the result of frustration with high floating caddis dries and dries that were too delicate for more than a few fish. I wanted a dry fly that was plenty buoyant, but sat low in the water like the naturals and was still visible for clients. I also wanted it durable enough to withstand more than a few fish, but still have that great segmentation that quills and biots give. With this in mind I developed the Outrigger Caddis. The originals were great in the glassy water but sunk in the rougher water. For additional floatation I added a foam underbody, a slightly bulkier wing, and thicker hackle up front. For added visibility, I pulled a doubled up piece of white packing foam over the head which also aids in floatation. In order to achieve a realistic profile from the fish’s perspective I used Ice Stretch Lace on the abdomen, which gives excellent segmentation, and an under wing that gives an extremely realistic profile of an adult caddis’s wings. The result is a realistic fly that sits low in the water, but is still highly visible, and produces fish in both glassy water and in the pockets.” The productivity of the Outrigger Caddis led me to create the Outrigger Little Yellow Sally. It has all the qualities of the Outrigger Caddis with the bright red egg sack of the females for added realism. The productivity of both the caddis and the sally has made the Outriggers two of my go to patterns in any situation.” ~ Fly and words by Dave Sloan

Umpqua Fly Pheasant Tail Emerger Mathews PMD
SKU: NFD9904
“My Pheasant Tail Emerger is tied to accomplish one purpose: to catch big, selectively feeding trout on Yellowstone Country’s spring creeks and rivers.
The PT Emerger pattern works its magic when fish are taking emerging mayflies struggling to shed their nymphal shucks and become fully formed duns.
I use pheasant tail fibers more than standard dubbings to imitate the bodies of these deadly dry fly patterns. The frilly nature of pheasant tail barbules trap air bubbles and naturally sparkle, closely imitating that of natural mayflies. The thorax is designed and imitated by dubbing blends to closely imitate the color of natural insects escaping their nymphal or pupal shucks. This incredibly effective pattern will work for catching the most selectively feeding trout on the planet!”

Umpqua Fly Pizza Delivery Grillos Supreme 6
SKU: NFD9828
The Pizza Delivery was created in Chile in 2005 as an over-the-top laughable fly for Andrew’s clients to fish to the extra-large and often extremely gullible trout.
Clients would come from all over the world and proceed to ask Andrew what the predominant hatch they would be fishing would be, and he would notoriously reply “We’re going to fish pizza and hot dogs!”
The fly had a second coming during Andrew’s days of guiding the Gunnison Gorge in Colorado.
He often used it as his guide indicator fly and would often catch fish on it during the famed salmon fly hatch.
The fly has traveled the world at this point and has caught steelhead in the PNW & Canada, carp in Montana, as well as trout from Chile to Kamchatka!
