The Pinnacle of Sunglass Design
Introducing the Finseekers, the culmination of years of research, samples and development have gone into forming the ultimate colour combinations. Designed to maximise clarity, enhance colours, increase contrast, illuminate dull tones and adapt to changing conditions. Available in both polymer (FS001, FS002, FS003) and glass lens options (FSG003).
All variations incorporate an anti-reflective coating on the inner side of the lens. The first of Fortis models to incorporate this feature designed to stop reflection from the users own face.
Moving onto the frames, the lightweight yet strong TR90 Nylon will withstand the toughest conditions.
The frame design boasts a myriad of features with vents for increased air flow to minimise internal fogging, sweat chambers to wick away moisture, rubber nose pad and tips on the arms provide maximum comfort. To top this all off, the sprung loaded hinges allow for over extension of the arms to not only protect against excessive stress but to also cater for all head shapes and sizes.
The Finseekers come with a microfibre cleaning cloth, durable hard case and dedicated quick release lanyard that can be permanently fixed to the frames
4 Models:
FS001 – Brown 247 Gold XBlok
A carefully selected and subtle brown lens with gold mirror. This lens is perfect for all round situations and with the addition of the gold XBlok to aid contrast, this Finseeker variant should be a staple for all angler’s stepping into the high end sunglass market. If you are unsure on what model is for you, look no further! Weight: 30g VLT = 19%
FS002 – Amber AMPM Silver XBlok
The amber Finseekers are the professionals colour of choice, able to bring to life the darkest areas. Originally designed for low light levels i.e sunrise and sunset, we have found this variant to be the most popular colour combination. The silver XBlok finish makes objects pop for a life in full colour. Weight: 30g VLT = 22%
FS003 – Green with Blue XBlok
A lens designed to mimic nature and provide a true representation of natural colour. This lens is the most comfortable and reduces eye fatigue. A favourite amongst sea and big water anglers where constant bright light comes from every angle. Weight: 30g VLT = 10%
FSG003 – Amber AMPM Silver XBlok SWITCH™
Our first glass lens into the Fortis range. Relentless development and no expense spared has formed the pinnacle of lens technology. Glass offers a multitude of advantages including clarity, scratch resistance and polarisation.
These Italian glass lenses incorporate our SWITCH™ technology. Our Switch or photochromic technology means that the lenses ‘switch’ in colour / shade when exposed to UV light. In bright light the lenses darken, in low light the lenses lighten. This allows the user perfect vision through the course of a session, whether that be at low light at dawn, stalking in the midday sun or looking for subtle signs of fish at dusk. Weight: 41.7g VLT = 13-27%

MICROSPEY AIR 2 — 10’9” 2WT.
The 2wt is our shortest model that is a sweet Scandi caster yet is more than capable of launching heavier Skagit heads and sinking tips. This this is a perfect small-river rod, or a bigger river stick when skating caddis, or presenting soft hackles. We like a 210 grain Skagit or a 180 grain Scandi. Add 8-10’ sinking or poly leaders that ring in the 80-grain range.MICROSPEY AIR 2 — 11’ 3WT.
The do-it-all member of the family. From flashy sculpins on the Missouri, to swinging tandem soft hackles of the West Branch of the Delaware, this 3wt is up for the task. Capable of both long and short casts, it also pairs well as a great indicator rod for stillwater applications. Line it with a 240 grain Skagit, or a 210 grain Scandi with 10’ of T-10 for sink tips.MICROSPEY AIR 2 — 11’3” 4WT.
Built with extra-power for bigger casts and flies, the 11’3” 4wt is the perfect choice for big water fishing. This powerful rod is ready for aggressive Skagit heads yet will handle longer lines utilizing touch-and-go techniques for ultra- smooth performance. A 300 grain Skagit or 275 Scandi, paired with 10’-12’ tips, are a sweet match for this amazing rod. -
