The initial design inspiration for the Burst Reel came from the complex patterns of interwoven branches found on mangroves flats, streamside logjams or beaver dams. We found that the very same branches we hook on an overzealous cast held the key to unmatched strength. Not only does the Burst Reel provide an interesting visual matrix, but structurally, it is far stronger than most reels on the market
