We found that the very same branches we hook on an overzealous cast held the key to unmatched strength. Dripping with style and performance, the new Drip Fly Reel is designed to give the angler a premium feature set at an unprecedented value. Drip Fly Reels have a unique 5-sided porting aesthetic on the frame and spool, creating both a strong and very lightweight reel designed for long days on the water. With a fully sealed, stacked disc drag, this reel combines good looks with the tech to back it up.
We developed the Drip reel with a narrower spool width to reduce the tendency of fly lines to stack up asymmetrically when retrieved, and we increased the overall spool diameter to add line retrieval speed.
