A 12 -pack of Sakasa Kebari Tenkara Flies in Black, Green and Yellow, Sizes 8 and 10. This versatile hackle-forward, simple fly can be used as a wet or dry fly. Pulse it under the water by lightly tapping your tenkara fly rod to create motion, or dab it with floatant and use it as a dry fly. The one fly pattern that can be fished above and below the surface.

Any fly pattern can be used with your tenkara fly fishing rod, including dries, nymphs, streamers, terrestrials, etc., but tenkara traditionalists focus less on hatch/insect visual imitation and more on fly movement and presentation. That’s why a simply hackle-forward fly patterned called the Sakasa Kebari is often the go-to tenkara fly pattern. It doesn’t resemble any particular insect but, with the hackle facing towards the hook’s eye, under water it pulses and is an effective attractor. When dressed with a bit of floatant, the Sakasa Kebari can be made to skitter across the surface of the water and offer dry action, making it a very versatile, non-specific fly pattern. Our Sakasa Kebari flies are pre-packaged in a re-usable small plastic box, ideal for the chest or back pocket for the true minimalist. Sizes 8 and 10. Weight Forward – Intermediate sink 1.5-2ips
The two different heads (Long and Short) has been designed with density compensation, meaning as you move up the front taper and into the belly, the line becomes gradually less dense. This puts the very tip of your fly line the deepest in the water column, improving strike detection, and keeping the belly portion out of the fishing zone.
There’s a slight color change in this line, as the front head is colored with a muted blue that will still be unobtrusive and not stand out in the water, with the rear taper and running line transition into a greyish/black color.

The unique Torque reel, the fourth series created by Boni, was the first reel released with our Torque drag system, which is now employed in all of our reels. Grip fly reels are designed for those that desire a fully sealed drag system for the most extreme conditions. They have the same heavy duty, clean cut construction that Torque and Rush series reels have become known for, only with a few sweet additions.
To start, 2 Hybrid ceramic ball bearings and even more carbon fiber have been incorporated, adding to the silky smooth drag that all Galvan users are accustomed to. A watertight, easy to access hub has also been added encasing the entire drag system, leaving only anodized aluminum exposed to the elements.
