    “The Puff Caddis was born trying to imitate a caddis in the emerging stage, simple but effective, it works well whether dry, Or as an emerger.

    To be used in medium speed waters, it has a wing made of CDC, a hare body and with the partridge mounted on the head which creates that semblance of movement in the water which makes it attractive for our trout friends.”

    “A little simpler addition to the Twisted Series with just the twisted abdomen and a CDC collar.

    The natural color variation is made with white spanflex. Since spanflex has a little transparency to it, taking a sharpie to the thread on the bottom part of the fly shows through the abdomen and creates a pretty unique look to this fly.

    I started with only the natural version, but couldn’t leave out a tan variation of it. It’s simple, but so effective.”
