  The LK Legacy series pays homage to TFO’s founding rod designer Lefty Kreh by incorporating all his wisdom in the creation of the ultimate “big water” trout rod for intermediate to advanced anglers.

   

  Whether casting dries, nymphs, or streamers, the LK Legacy’s perfect tracking and a crisp, smooth recovery make them very powerful and responsive. LK Legacy series lighter line weights will easily protect 5x tippet when fishing to highly selective trout. And the mid to heavier line weights are excellent for windy conditions or distance casting as they are designed to efficiently generate high line speed and very tight loops. The combination of light weight and durability make these rods perfect to fish from first light to sundown in the high mountain west where conditions can include wind and big water.

  The LK Legacy is constructed with high modulus carbon fiber material and finished in a matte grey color. Componentry includes fully anodized up-locking reel seats with angled hoods and braided carbon fiber inserts. Black frame, stainless steel stripping guides and anodized, double-foot, stainless-steel snake guides provide durability and minimize weight. The Flor grade full cork grips are comfortably contoured and uniquely contrasted. From a delicate 3-weight to the very popular 8-weight, 11 models allow the LK Legacy series to perfectly match a broad range of conditions, techniques, and species.   All rods come with premium cork handles and half and full wells grips. Solution rods are built on a high modulus graphite with a clear coating, which you’ll notice on the rod’s lighter weight and quick recovery.

  An experienced euro nymphing angler requires a tool that aids in their ability to sense the slightest bites and to lift and set the hook on a fish quickly. Enter the Elevare series, Italian for “to lift, raise or elevate,” this premium series allows anglers to deliver and hook fish more effectively in leary, light line, and small fly environments.

   

  Leaders, flies, and techniques in this world have evolved rapidly. This series now brings forward a four-rod series covering a range of water sizes so anglers can find more success on the water.

  With models ranging from a 10-foot, 2-weight, through 11-foot, 4-weight, all models of the Elevare come in well under 3.0 ounces for maximum efficiency and weight savings and feature a black finish. This is accomplished by a very high modulus material that allows precision fly placement but a blank that securely protects light tippets and ensures solid hooksets.

  The two and three-weight, 10-foot models feature half-wells grips and down-locking reel seats. The 10’6 and 11-foot models feature tapered full wells grips and burl cork fighting butts, and down-locking reel seats for precise balance. Additionally, premium REC black pearl recoil guides and single-foot fly guides eliminate as much unwanted weight as possible.

  All models are labeled on the butt section for easy identification when residing in a rooftop rod carrier.

  The Oros tech pack includes three strike indicator colors glow-in-the-dark, black/anti-glare and hi-visibility chartreuse.

  Black/Anti-glare
  Black strike indicators provide more contrast and are easier to see than other colors in highly reflective lighting situations. We’ve found that black indicators work well when the sun is lower on the horizon or under overcast skies that are reflecting on the water. For situations where the indicator is moving from water with a dark refection into an area with high glare we recommend putting two indicators on the line, one black and one chartreuse or white. The white or chartreuse indicator is easy to see in the dark area and the black indicator is easier to see in the high glare area. For example, we pared a medium black indicator with a small chartreuse indicator

  Easy to use!

  To fasten:
  1. Unscrew top
  2. Place line in screw slot
  3. Screw on top until the screw and nut grips the line
  4. Unscrew ¼ turn to adjust up or down
  5. Don’t over-tighten.
