Zero Backlash Clutch
The simplicity of design, larger components, and non-corrosive materials ensure reliability and smooth consistent performance every time the reel is put to the test. The Zero backlash clutch locks down without slipping even at the highest of drags, truly offering the angler maximum drag when it matters most. The Bauer clutch also possesses zero start up Inertia, this refers to the initial resistance met when drag is first engaged. By eliminating start up inertia and enabling our reels to have the same resistance from the beginning of the run to the end of the run you will lose less fish and be able to fish light tippet with confidence. Whether you’re trying to stop a 100+ pound tarpon or playing the trout of a lifetime on 6x the Bauer clutch will help you succeed.

The Oros tech pack includes three strike indicator colors glow-in-the-dark, black/anti-glare and hi-visibility chartreuse.
Black/Anti-glare
Black strike indicators provide more contrast and are easier to see than other colors in highly reflective lighting situations. We’ve found that black indicators work well when the sun is lower on the horizon or under overcast skies that are reflecting on the water. For situations where the indicator is moving from water with a dark refection into an area with high glare we recommend putting two indicators on the line, one black and one chartreuse or white. The white or chartreuse indicator is easy to see in the dark area and the black indicator is easier to see in the high glare area. For example, we pared a medium black indicator with a small chartreuse indicatorEasy to use!
To fasten:
1. Unscrew top
2. Place line in screw slot
3. Screw on top until the screw and nut grips the line
4. Unscrew ¼ turn to adjust up or down
5. Don’t over-tighten.Features and details:
• Recommended line weights by size: small – 5X and lower, medium – 4X or lower.
• Does not kink the line
• Float as much or more weight than the current leading brands.
